Job Profile

We are looking for a Lawyer for our Legal Department. The position will be located in our Head Office in ANKARA.

Job Description

·       Ensure corporate compliance with legal requirements,

·       Advise the company on its contractual & statutory obligations, legal risks and legislation change,

·       Manage and deal with disputes and litigation; coordinate the work flow with external legal firms where necessary,

·       Support the law department’s decision processes with legal risk assessments especially on EPC Contracts, FIDIC based Contracts, Labor Law, Contracts and Corporate Law issues in a manner that allows the business to move forward on the basis of informed and reasonable or controlled risk taking,

·       Provide legal opinions, negotiation, draft/review of agreements and other legal documentation, with specialization in Corporate Law such as shareholder’s agreements, share purchase agreements, engagement letters, terms of business, hold harmless letters, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements,

·       Advise business on the execution of contractual obligations,

·       Prioritize and manage multiple projects and work independently with colleagues in multiple locations across the continents,

·       Support implementation of all legislative, regulatory, and compliance initiatives, as per global/regional requirements,

·       Interact with regulatory authorities,

·       Collaborate with international attorneys of the Group on matters relating to subsidiaries and/or business divisions,

·       Draft legal procedures to be followed,

·       Perform training and assurance on compliance rules and regulations,

·       Perform such other legal work and administrative matters that may be required as part of the Group’s legal function.

 Skills and Qualifications:

·       University Degree in Faculty of Law, Master’s degree is an asset

·       Minimum 5 years of legal transactional and compliance experience, ideally in an international law firm or in an in-house position of a company that has international businesses

·       Solid labor law and corporate law background is a must

·       Strong understanding of construction, energy, real estate development businesses, multi-national corporate structure and ability to draw out business implications of legal issues

·       Effective verbal and written communication skills in all interactions with senior management, corporate functions and all levels of personnel

·       Discretion in handling highly confidential and sensitive matters

·       Integrity and professionalism

·       Excellent command of verbal and written English

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Excellent persuasive and negotiation ability

·       Proactive, take ownership of results, overcome obstacles
