We are on the search for a “Piping Stress & Support Engineer” under the Engineering Group Management to join our team in Istanbul. Requirements are as follows:

• Must possess BSEng Mechanical/Civil Engineering Degree and Post graduate qualification in piping or mechanical discipline is desirable.
• 5 years’ experience in piping stress and supports engineering for industrial plants projects (Refining, Petrochemical, LNG, Power, Water or Decarbonization).
• Strong stress analysis and piping support knowledge.
• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision and work effectively as a team member.
• Familiarized with the ASME, API, Euro code and/or other industry standards.
• Good Understanding especially for ASME31.3 and ASME 31.1.
• Availability for long term site mobilization for inside Turkey.
• Organized, motivated and team worker.
• Good communication and proactive.
• Competence on Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Competence on Caesar II or another similar piping stress program.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform the stress analysis of lines related to static and rotating equipment.
• Define the pipe support location and type.
• Forecast/calculation for piping loads on pipe racks, main structures, vessels and platforms.
• Stress analysis isometrics sketches development, within all required data for support definition.
• Calculate, select and specify variable and constant spring hanger supports.
• Knowledge of pipe support, including the use of: snubbers, rigid struts, sway braces and expansion joints.
• Check piping stress loads on equipment´s nozzles.
• Prepare Requisition for Inquiry/ Purchase and Technical tabulation of piping support elements, such as; spring supports, snubbers.
• Prepare piping stress analysis reports considering project specifications.
• Assist project managers in technical coordination with other engineering disciplines and client.
