Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Financial Reporting and Controlling Manager, the Assistant Financial Controller will assist in budget preparations and conduct periodical analysis of budget variances.

Lead all month-end closing activities to ensure timely financial statement review, including reconciliation of all accounts.

Prepare monthly IFRS reporting packages and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS.

Drive the annual operating cost budgeting process in coordination with cost center owners.

Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit, lead issues relating to audits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

2-4 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.

Big-four audit company experience is an asset

Fluency in English

Strong understanding of IFRS and experience in preparing financial statements and reports.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications; experience with ERP systems preferred (SAP).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
