As Istanbul American Schools, we need a Laboratory Teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year.

General Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.)
• Teaching certification or license
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team

Job Description:

• Plan and conduct laboratory experiments for students
• Provide instruction on proper laboratory techniques and safety procedures
• Assist in the development of laboratory curriculum
• Evaluate and grade students' laboratory work
• Supervise and maintain laboratory equipment and materials
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in laboratory science
• Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate laboratory activities with classroom instruction
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
