Qualifications Required:

• Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Departments (Environmental and Industrial Engineering is a plus)

• Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, 

• A or B Class Safety Specialist Certificate from the Ministry of Labor

• Environmental Expert Certificate from the Ministry of Environment will be preferring

• Comprehensive knowledge of safety and health management

• Presentational skills with the ability to influence others to effect change positively

• Excellent communication skills with solid teamwork ability

• Advanced computer skills; excellent users of MS Office  (especially advanced in Excel and high presentation capability in PowerPoint)

• Analytical thinking, result oriented, fast in action but with detailed planning

• B class driving license with experience is preferred

• Locate / willing to locate in Kocaeli

• Good or intermediate level command in English 

• Military service completed for male candidates

Job Profile/Responsibilities/Description

• Contribute to the implementation of vision, strategy, policies, procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

• Implement all relevant procedures described in the Management Systems

• Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies and HQ.

• Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits

• Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate

• Train others in all aspects of the quality system and application of procedures

• Undertake regular internal and process audits of the Management Systems

• Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address non conformities found

• Verify closure of non conformities with Certification Bodies 

• Manage the nonconformity database

• Provide detailed analysis of nonconformities 

• Ensure ongoing compliance with the Management Systems (TS ISO 14001 & TS ISO 45001)

• Produce written reports and make presentations

• Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility

• Follow-up department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of each area of responsibility

• Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting 

• Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required

• Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors

• Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department

• Conduct incident investigation in the department
