Transmission Networks

Our transmission department is focused in providing professional services for:

• Design, integration and support of telecommunication networks
• Installation and support of optical DWDM networks
• Optical networks deployment project management
• First Line Maintenance services for existing networks

Our Istanbul office is looking for optical transmission network support engineers to join the team and take part in the local and international projects we work on (business travels required within Turkey and EMEA region).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level technical support with remote access and on-site operations
• Stay in support capacity and engage out of working hours when necessary
• Deployment of DWDM telecom networks in Turkey and EMEA region
• Installation, setup and testing of DWDM equipment
• Prepare and maintain related technical documentation
• Communication with customer to resolve project related issues

Qualifications

• University degree in electronics, telecommunications, computer science or similar
• Work experience in SDH/DWDM systems will be an asset.
• Work experience at mobile/fixed network operators, internet service providers, optical network service providers or equipment vendors is required   
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Good communication skills
• Energetic and observer, open to learning
• Analytical thinking capability
• Available to travel within Turkey and abroad for training and work purposes
• Ability to encounter customers if necessary
• Have no restriction to work in 7/24 time based flexible working times
• Have a driving license (B class) and experience
